MEERA VALIYATHARA

Meera Valiyathara

Meera is an Animal Health Technician who has worked part time at Clinique Vétérinaire des Sources Meera since 2013. She enjoys working at the Clinic; her favorite activity is to greet the pets as they come in and when they are boarding. She has loved animals since childhood and always knew that she wanted to work with them. As a career goal, she wants to inform pet owners about animal behaviour and one day work with rescue organizations for African and Indian elephants.

Currently, she is studying full-time at Concordia University to obtain a degree in anthropology. She focuses her love and energy on her cat Porto, which she adopted at the Clinic in 2013. You can count on her to lovingly care for your pet when the clinic is closed.

KELLY LUM

Kelly Lum

Kelly completed the Animal Health Technician Program at Vanier College in 2014. She did her internship with us at the Clinic in 2014 and has been part of the team ever since. She is preparing to take the ENTSA exam to become a certified technician.

Having a life-long fascination with animals, she has been volunteering for 3 years in a shelter for cats that does not euthanize. After many years without a pet, she adopted laboratory mice from Vanier College in 2013.

Ashley Willis

Ashley has been a technician for 7 years. Her main areas of interest and expertise are patient care and customer service. She loves to take care of patients and speak up for their needs, since they are unable to do so themselves. She will go beyond what is required to ensure that a pet, and hence their owner, is happy. She likes to see the patients as they grow, when they come in for their examinations, vaccines and other visits. She also finds it very important to be present at their final moments.

Come happy days or sad ones, Ashley would not change her life and absolutely loves her position as a veterinary technician.

JAMIE GUBEN

Jamie Guben

Jamie is the newest member of our team, and has worked with us since 2015. Once she completed her education in Animal Health Technology at Vanier College, she completed a 5-week internship at the Clinic and was delighted to be hired soon after. Before becoming a technician, she worked for 3 years as an aide at a kennel where she gained experience working with cats and dogs. She has been an animal lover since childhood and is delighted to share her knowledge by educating our customers about the proper care and nutrition of their family pets.

Jamie has two furry companions, a Shih Tzu cross, Jessie (a longtime patient, well before Jamie worked at the clinic), and Charlie, her best friend and inseparable companion.

Dominic Rochette

Dominic is passionate about reading, snowboarding and numbers. A team member for 1 year, he handles the administrative tasks at the clinic. He is also currently studying at HEC to get his degree in Business Administration.

He divides his time between his studies, his work, his family and two beautiful cats adopted here as well as a rabbit he adopted from his school. With his knowledge of accounting and computer science, Dominic is always ready to take on challenges and help out.
